Lazy Summer Days

Wed Jul 18, 2007, 7:21 AM
  • Listening to: ''Drive All Night' - Bruce Springsteen
  • Reading: The Duke of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
  • Watching: 'Grindhouse' by Rodriquez/Tarantino
  • Eating: salad
  • Drinking: ice tea
Officially a month and a half into summer, I'm already bored, tired, and stuffed. I was out (again) for a couple of weeks cause my DSL connection was down but now that I am up and about, I'm ready to clear up the clutter and put up some new stuff. I actually had fun during the downtime, I got out of doing the same routine things and instead did some things I enjoy (like watching some of my favorite movies over & over again), which was nice for a change.

Now getting to devART I am in the midst of revamping my page, which I thought was duely much awaited. Included in the changes is a new drawing, actually I finished it up back in December but I kept tweaking it and months later it’s up. It is a drawing - Portrait of V, influenced by the graphic novel/movie 'V for Vendetta’. Other changes include a new avatar, cropped from a previous scrap and now wallpaper 'Outcast'. Then of course, there is the new devious ID, which I had fun with but I am still not completely satisfied, so I’m going to try to come up with something better, some time soon.

Like I mentioned in the previous Journal entries, there are a number of other drawings that I am working on simultaneously but can’t seem to get around them for many reasons. There are also a few that I have just started, of which I am very excited about. So, hopefully I can wrap them up all soon and upload them too.

So many people here have been supporting and furthermore inspiring. Thank you for all of your views, glances and comments.

lol, loud is the only way to go :D and ruby tuesday is one of my lesser favourites, I can understand how somebody might not like. But they have some other similar songs to ruby tuesday which I love, like Angie.

yeah, that's a good one, but it's kinda funny, because he heard a cover in Children of Men, so he downloaded that and the original, and he couldn't stand the original.... he makes me laugh because he drew out the first e in terrible when he told me...

Your welcome and that's good advice, to try and channel the emotions, I'll definately put that in to use.

Kinda like how your signature goes, huh.
